Profound Beauty
The planet Earth is verily home to the most exotic of views, scenarios, habitations and sights. No wonder people find joy in travelling. In this article I have tried to list out few places that one must visit (or at least I must visit) to have a look at the wonders of nature. Although these places are few, and everyone has their opinions, but I do believe that among the finest of natural places, these sights somewhere find a place in my list. But as I said, I do have other places on my list, and that list being a long one; I have only mentioned some of them. Comment down below which places you think should be visited at least once.
Note :- This isn’t any form of rating/countdown. The places have been mentioned in a random sequence. And the most common of places like Heritage sights, Wonders of the World etc. have not been mentioned. We are also not gonna talk about Haunted places.
Bolivian Salt Flat
For obvious reasons, the Salt flat of Bolivia, Salar de Uyuni has found a place in my list. And am sure anyone who wishes to truly witness the 'largest natural mirror in the world' has to take a trip. Although there isn’t much to see during the summers, the rainy season is the time when the magic happens. The salt flat transforms into a mirror when the water gathers in the plain and forms a thin film. Located in South West Bolivia, it is the largest salt flat at 10,582 square kilometers.

Flathead Lake
Flathead lake, located in Montana US is titled the most clear water body in the world. I know what you’re gonna say “Dude there are other clear water bodies in the world, like the Blue Lake in New Zealand.” Well then here’s my answer, The Blue Lake is also a clear water body but only has a depth of 7 meters, on the other hand The Flathead has a depth of 113 meters and still appears shallow!!! Get the difference? Beat that, punk. The crystal clear water can be very alluring, and taking a boat ride is a must. The feeling of ‘flying over water’ is just priceless.

The Auroras
The Auroras go by different names; The Polar lights, The Northern lights (Aurora Borealis), The Southern lights (Aurora Australis). It is the natural display of light seen in the Earth’s sky in the Artic and Antarctic region. I won’t be explaining the science behind this phenomenon, but I can definitely tell you that these lights can capture you in a trance and you will be in awe of The Creator. As it is said, difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations, similarly the icy cold regions of the Arctic and Antarctic is something you will have to overcome to live this moment of truth!!! And if you are the non-adventurous type then you can watch it on YouTube if that works for you. ;)

Waitomo Caves
Located in New Zealand, these caves also go by the name of Glowworm Caves. There is a great irony for anyone visiting this place. Just imagine, that you are visiting a place that has visions similar to the Milky Way, but later you realise that those little stars that you were adimiring was actually worm mucus!!! Gross, but amazing. Since the caves are water-present, taking a boat tour remains the best option. There are other sights nearby, which can be googled. :)
